A survey conducted in the US reveals that the number of young people who are getting affected by Obsessive-Compulsive-Disorder and teen depression is on the increase. In fact, researchers have proved that depression is linked to a number of mental disorders that include PTSD, OCD, social phobia and so on. The good news is that all these afflictions can be treated and teens affected by depression and OCD can lead normal lives.

Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder

Obsessive-compulsive disorder is otherwise known as OCD and teens affected by this will have unwanted, intruding and distracting thoughts and may not be able to control them. There may be pervasive anxiety also accompanying these thoughts.
